<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p>As a Senior Project Manager, you will do the following: • Provide overall management of construction from pre-construction to completion, including design, coordination, budget, and schedule, in collaboration with the superintendent. • Prepare bid documents and subcontracts. • Prepare regular, timely, and accurate invoices for owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor invoices. • Monitor, interpret, and forecast project cost reports, ensuring they are in line with estimates and maintaining positive cash flow. • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support team development and progress. • Submit project reports to the area manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated. Is this the right job for you? • You have a degree related to construction and more than 15 years of experience in the construction field or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a project management role in institutional or commercial construction. • You have working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management, and contract software. • You can confidently supervise and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.</p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>• You have a degree related to construction and more than 15 years of experience in the construction field or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in a project management role in institutional or commercial construction. • You have working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management, and contract software. • You can confidently supervise and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relationships. - Have to be bilingual (French as a first language is preferred)</p><p><strong>NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>- PR or Canadian citizen would be preferred, but is not a must-have</p>
