This vertically integrated partnership allows us to provide highquality, efficient, and tailored elevator solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.</p><p></p><p>At MEII, we are committed to innovation, precision, and safety in every project, ensuring our elevators not only move people but also elevate standards in design and performance.</p><p><br><br></p><p>Modern Elevator<br /></p><p><br><br></p><p>THE POSITION</p><p><br><br></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations for our elevator manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating all shipping and receiving activities, inventory control, warehouse organization, and coordination with production to ensure timely and accurate material flow. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing logistics, and experience with inventory management systems. This position will report directly to the Production Manager and lead two supporting workers.</p><p></p><p>Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:</p><p>Shipping & Receiving Operations</p><ul><li>Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials, components, and finished</li><li>Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, documentation, and storage of materials</li><li>Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors</li><li>Verify shipping documentation, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy and compliance</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production schedules and customer deliveries</li><li>Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation</li><li>Monitor inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions to reduce discrepancies</li><li>Optimize inventory storage, material flow, and warehouse layout</li><li>Supervise warehouse staff and daily material handling activities</li><li>Ensure proper handling of large, heavy components,</li><li>Coordinate material staging and kitting for production and installation teams,</li><li>Develop and improve procedures for shipping, receiving, and inventory control,</li><li>Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and freight costs</li><li>Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Project Management teams,</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>THE QUALIFICATIONS</p><p><br><br></p><p>This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership skills, capable of navigating the challenges of ETO production, supply chain changes, and the ability to a time-sensitive delivery schedule:</p><p></p><ul><li>35+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management within a manufacturing environment,</li><li>Must have a valid driver&#39;s license,</li><li>Proven experience with inventory management and ERP/MRP systems,</li><li>Strong understanding of logistics, freight coordination, and warehouse operations,</li><li>Ability to manage and lead a team effectively,</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills,</li></ul><p></p><p>At MEII/ATTA Elevators, our employees wear many hats to support a growing company.
