Small Business Advisor – Saskatoon

We’re looking for a Small Business Advisor to join our team in Saskatoon who thrives on developing relationships and providing creative solutions. You will provide needs based holistic financial advice (e.g.: credit and wealth solutions; cash management services to support banking and deposit management) to small business members.

Responsibilities

• Providing holistic financial advice to our small business members


• Guiding members through loan application processes, ensuring eligibility and creditworthiness, and assisting in underwriting for small business loans


• Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and knowledge to have proactive advice‑based conversations fueled by a passion to help our small business members meet their financial goals


• Marketing yourself to increase your book of business within the local community


• Building and strengthening relationships with our Small Business Members by balancing your time in branch and conducting site visits.


• Ensuring a healthy balance between opportunity and risk and between growth and profitability for Conexus

Experience

• 3+ years of previous credit and advisory experience in a financial institution


• Proven relationship management skills


• Experience in business or agricultural lending


• Post‑secondary education related to agriculture or business is an asset


• Experience in the agriculture industry or running a small business is an asset
