<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Snow & Landscape Estimator / Project LeadPosition Overview<p>The Snow & Landscape Estimator / Project Lead is responsible for estimating and bidding on Snow and Landscape contracts, coordinating internal project planning, and supporting smooth service delivery through collaboration with the Branch Manager and Account <span >Manager/Supervisors.</span></p><p>This role focuses heavily on estimating accuracy, contract setup, project coordination, and cross-functional support. The Project Lead ensures that awarded work is properly scoped, documented, costed, and ready for operational deployment.</p><p>The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in landscape and/or snow service workflows, including municipal and public-sector contracts.</p>Key <span >ResponsibilitiesEstimating</span> & Bidding <ul><li><p>Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for:<br><br></p><ul><li><p>Landscape maintenance and turf management</p></li><li><p>Seasonal plantings and enhancements</p></li><li><p>Landscape improvements and small projects</p></li><li><p>Snow & ice management services<br><br></p></li></ul></li><li><p>Assess labor, material, equipment, and production rates to develop competitive proposals.</p></li><li><p>Review site plans, drawings, specifications, and RFP/RFQ requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare compliant submissions for municipal, provincial, federal, and institutional contracts.</p></li><li><p>Analyze past job-cost performance to continuously refine pricing and production rates.<br /></p></li></ul>Internal Project Planning & Coordination<ul><li><p>Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Account <span >Managers/Supervisors</span> to plan the execution of awarded contracts.</p></li><li><p>Conduct internal site verification visits to confirm quantities, access points, risks, and logistical requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide accurate maps, measurements, material lists, and site-specific instructions to operations teams.</p></li><li><p>Document scopes clearly in Aspire to support scheduling, routing, and service verification.</p></li><li><p>Track project budgets, productivity, and material usage; support internal cost-control initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Participate in post-project reviews to improve future estimating and operational efficiencies.<br /></p></li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li><p>Work with the Branch Manager to ensure resource availability aligns with upcoming awarded work.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Account <span >Managers/Supervisors</span> on routing, schedules, and crew/equipment needs based on estimated scopes.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the Mechanic for equipment allocation required for specific contracts.</p></li><li><p>Support the Account <span >Managers/Supervisors</span> by ensuring contract details are accurately set up in Aspire.<br /></p></li></ul>Operational Support<ul><li><p>Collaborate with the team to pre-storm planning by providing accurate route data, resource needs, and service scopes.</p></li><li><p>Support Supervisors during storm events when internal coordination or documentation is required.</p></li><li><p>Help develop and maintain site documentation, route maps, and operational instructions.</p></li><li><p>Monitor internal KPIs such as labor efficiency, material usage, and route performance to support cost control and better estimating.<br /></p></li></ul>Systems, Documentation & Reporting<ul><li><p>Use Aspire to build estimates, set up contracts, input job details, and track project performance.</p></li><li><p>Maintain updated production rates, pricing sheets, and service templates.</p></li><li><p>Ensure data accuracy to support scheduling, invoicing, and financial reporting.</p></li><li><p>Analyze service results to recommend improvements in future estimates and operational planning.<br /></p></li></ul><span >QualificationsEducation</span> & Experience<ul><li><p>3–5 years experience in estimating, project management, or operations planning within landscape or snow services.</p></li><li><p>Experience with government tendering and public-sector compliance is an asset.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of landscape and snow equipment, materials, and service workflows.<br /></p></li></ul>Skills & Competencies<ul><li><p>Strong analytical and numerical abilities.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret site plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts.</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Aspire, LMN or similar estimating/project management tools.</p></li><li><p>Effective internal communication and cross-department coordination skills.<br /></p></li></ul><strong>Other Requirements</strong><ul><li><p>Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites as needed.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, weather-driven environment.</p></li></ul><p><br /></p><strong>What we offer</strong><ul><li>A dynamic and inclusive work environment with growth opportunities.</li><li>Competitive benefits, including group insurance and wellness initiatives.</li><li>A chance to play a key role in our company’s success and expansion.</li><li>A commitment to diversity, collaboration and employee-focused initiatives.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><br><br><p>PIb0458e88d078-25405-39263279</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
