Job Description

At Nöord Technologies, we empower top-tier financial institutions with exceptional talent in banking and capital markets.

We are currently seeking, on behalf of one of our clients, a Consultant – Sourcing & Procurement to play a central role in a major international procurement transformation initiative.

Join a global banking leader and help harmonize procurement operations across Paris, Montréal, and New York. This is a high-impact consulting mandate where your expertise in procurement processes, digital transformation, and Ivalua will directly shape the bank’s future operating model.

As a Procurement Process Consultant, you will support international procurement teams with the mandate to streamline, align, and modernize end-to-end procurement processes across three major regions.

Your mission: map current workflows, design a unified global model, and drive adoption of the Ivalua (EASY) platform to strengthen procurement efficiency, compliance, and visibility.

You will work closely with sourcing, vendor management, AP, and risk teams—becoming a key advisor in transforming how the organization purchases, manages vendors, processes invoices, and oversees third-party risks.

Key Responsibilities
1. Process Mapping & Assessment
  • Document and analyze existing procurement workflows across the three regions.

  • Identify overlaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Evaluate process maturity and cross-regional alignment.

2. Target Operating Model Design
  • Develop a harmonized procurement model aligned with global best practices.

  • Define standardized workflows to be implemented within Ivalua (EASY).

  • Build a comprehensive model covering:

    • Sourcing & RFP management

    • Purchase requisition intake

    • Approvals & governance

    • Vendor selection

    • Invoice lifecycle & dispute resolution

    • Reporting & spend visibility

    • Centralized contract management

    • Third-Party Risk Management alignment

3. Transformation & Change Management
  • Propose a structured implementation plan (timeline, capacity, milestones).

  • Design a robust change management strategy adapted to multicultural teams.

4. Operational Support & Reporting
  • Enhance visibility on vendor spend and procurement analytics.

  • Implement a unified process for storing, managing, and tracking contracts.

  • Ensure the new operating model fully integrates TPRM requirements.

RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Ivalua (EASY).

  • Strong mastery of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

  • Knowledge of Canadian, French, and US accounting frameworks.

  • Experience with process modeling (BPMN preferred).

  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS.

  • Strong analytical and documentation capabilities.

Consulting & Soft Skills
  • 5+ years of procurement process consulting experience.

  • Proven experience in digital transformation and process optimization.

  • Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and governance.

  • Solid project management skills (PMP is an asset).

  • Bilingual English/French.

  • Independent, structured, and highly organized professional.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
