<br><p>Reporting to the IT Squad Service Manager, the IT Technician plays a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of delivered services by advising and supporting colleagues in analyzing and resolving issues, leveraging a broad understanding of EBC's business domains.<br></p><p>More specifically, the responsibilities include:<br></p><ul><li>Provide full IT support (Helpdesk and Infrastructure) for a site with approximately 100 users.<br></li><li>Participate in a project lasting about 4 years.<br></li><li>Coordinate and ensure that services are delivered professionally and in a friendly manner, while maintaining a positive work environment.<br></li><li>Act as a resource for technical support to site users and business partners.<br></li><li>Diagnose, analyze, document, investigate, and/or resolve issues independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills (Workstations, Printers, Network Infrastructure).<br></li><li>Manage inventory and produce inventory reports as needed.<br></li><li>Contribute to optimizing operational processes and support continuous improvement of IT services for EBC construction sites and operations.<br></li><li>Actively research new partners to improve operational reach for remote sites.<br></li><li>Serve as a technology advisor to implement new solutions that enhance site infrastructure.<br></li><li>Perform any other related tasks.<br></li></ul>
<br><p><b>The position requires the candidate to obtain a government security clearance in order to maintain employment.</b><br></p><ul><li>Must have resided in Canada for at least 10 years or hold Canadian permanent resident status.<br></li><li>No criminal record.<br></li><li>No history of bankruptcy.<br></li></ul><p><b>Advanced technical skills:</b><br></p><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including:<ul><li>Microsoft 365 (Azure, Entra ID, etc.)<br></li><li>Active Directory (on-premises environment)<br></li></ul></li><li>Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto products.<br></li><li>Strong technical expertise with a minimum of 10 years of experience.<br></li><li>Mastery of the Office 365 environment (Microsoft AD, Microsoft Azure & Intune).<br></li><li>Expertise in network environments (Unifi products).<br></li></ul>
