Our commitment to service, safety, and innovation has driven us to where we are today—a rapidly growing organization with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility spanning 5 acres in South Foothills Industrial Park, Calgary, Alberta.<br />\ *\*Why Choose ICE Western:\ *\*<br />\*\*Leading Technology:\ *\* Our cutting-edge facilityis equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic industry.<br />\ *\*Global Reach:\ *\* Our products are trusted worldwide for their quality and performance.<br />\ *\*Innovation:\ *\* We push boundaries, delivering HVAC solutions that redefine industry standards.<br />\ *\*Talented Team:\ *\* Join over 100 dedicated professionals committed to excellence.<br />*Job Description*<br />* Experience designing Industrial Control Panels – Knowledge of UL 508A<br />* Previous experience/understanding of commercial Building Management Systems / Building Automation Systems would be an asset.<br />* HVAC equipment unit experience is a MUST<br />* This role can potentially lead to a team lead role, managing several employees within our organization.<br />* Must understand HVAC air handlers, direct/indirect units<br />* Understand operational processes, electrical power, electrical controls and pneumatics<br />* The position requires working with multiple disciplines including electrical and mechanical engineering.<br />* Designing Electrical wiring diagrams<br />* Reviewing/Updating Wiring diagrams<br />* Create bill of materials<br />* Create/manage a process between shop workers and designers<br />* Bring up ideas and solutions to have efficient processes within our organization<br />* Understand HVAC/Electrical parts<br />* Candidates with a strong background in HVAC industrial controls; <br /> this includes air make up units, both direct fired, and indirect fired, Air conditioning systems, including DX systems, chillers, and evaporative will receive preference.<br />* Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.<br />* Create wiring diagrams to achieve sequence of operation by project specification.<br />* Writing Sequence of Operations for HVAC units<br />* Previous programming exposure would be an asset<br />* Ability to use AutoCAD, must have an intermediate level or better<br />* Previous experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and operator interface controllers such as HMI’s or touch-screens is required; <br /> this includes at a minimum Allen Bradley, Distech and/ or Schneider would be asset.<br />* A highly motivated self-starter with exceptional communication, leadership and computer skills.<br />* Must be able to work independently and past experience should demonstrate achievements supporting a results oriented focus and use of leadership skills.<br />* Leadership skills required<br />* Will be working with team members of the design group, as well as electricians on the production floor<br />* Must have Professional Engineering Experience with Master/Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Engineer.<br />* Knowledge of Canadian and US Codes and standards (NEC, CEC, NFPA70) – ensure designs comply<br />Job Type: Full-time<br />Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour<br />Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week<br />Work Location: In person
