What We’re Looking For
We need Red Seal Welders or experienced welding professionals with a strong background in structural steel and pressure welding. If you thrive in heavy manufacturing and want to work on exciting shipbuilding projects, we want you!
Technical Requirements
- Certification:
- Red Seal Welder OR minimum 5 years of welding experience
- Current CWB All Position FCAW Qualification (valid for at least 6 months)
- Skills:
- Manual burning using oxy/fuel cutting equipment
- Air-arc gouging in all positions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment FCAW weld test
- For Pipe Welders:
- Documented pipe/pressure welding experience
- Provincial, International, or Class Society certifications
- Ability to pass additional qualification tests as required
Other Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards
- Ability to read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and drawings
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
- Flexible to work all shifts
