Description:

This role manages unserviceable components through the full repair cycle, from repair order generation to closure, ensuring timely delivery. Responsibilities include minimizing turnaround times, maintaining supplier relationships, expediting critical assets, and driving program deliverables. Success is measured by meeting departmental Key Performance Indexes.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Supplier Mangers are responsible for all process steps for Repair Orders under their management, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Repair order generation.
  • Escalating inbound / outbound miss-shipments + exceptions.
  • Working with supplier base to obtain quotes, status updates, milestones, and query responses.
  • Quotation evaluation and cost approval. Includes cost management to hold suppliers to contractual terms, warranty enforcement, making commercial challenges and identifying customer re-charges.
  • Customer communication and queries, including Submitting re-charges to customer and handling subsequent queries and approvals, processing requests for billing, and status reporting if required.
  • Ensuring all managed RO’s are appropriately actioned and updated in the relevant IT systems to allow them to be delivered in and close out of WIP.
  • Resolve open events preventing vendor invoices being paid.
  • Ownership of repair cycle, including resolving issues with customer and internal supply chain which hold up TAT of a RO, proactively escalating internally as appropriate.
  • Management of open WIP, applying effective prioritization to Priority RO’s, and supporting the MRO Expedite team as required.
  • Develop positive and strong supplier, customer, and internal relationships, seek to improve working methods and communications.
  • Identify ongoing areas of opportunity in process, customer service, TAT, and cost control.
  • Represent AAR in customer and supplier reviews.
  • Utilization of Internal systems, providing feedback for future development.
  • Carry out any miscellaneous tasks or related duties deemed necessary by line manager


What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Emphasis in Logistic and Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.
  • Aviation experience preferred.
  • PC literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
