The role focuses on coordinating daily procurement operations, managing vendor relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting cross-functional teams.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Procurement & Vendor Management</strong></b></p><ul><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services.</li><li>Manage supplier performance, contracts, and relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.</li><li>Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities</li></ul><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Inventory & Logistics Coordination</strong></b></p><ul><li>Maintains oversight of inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.</li><li>Oversees the coordination of shipping, receiving, and storage operations, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods across inbound and outbound logistics</li><li>Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Planning & Forecasting</strong></b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, finance, and sales) to align procurement and logistics plans with operational needs.</li><li>Analyze demand forecasts and adjust procurement plans accordingly.</li><li>Identifies operational risks in the supply chain and implements mitigation strategies in alignment with company objectives.</li></ul><p><b><strong>System & Process Improvement</strong></b></p><ul><li>Maintain and improve ERP or supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).</li><li>Develops and improves supply chain SOPs and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times</li><li>Recommend improvements to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance efficiency.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Reporting & Compliance</strong></b></p><ul><li>Prepares and analyzes regular reports on KPIs such as inventory turnover, supplier performance, and cost variance.</li><li>Ensures compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements as they relate to supply chain operations.</li><li>Support audits and maintain accurate documentation of procurement and inventory records.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Team Support & Leadership</strong></b></p><ul><li>Supervises and provides guidance to junior procurement and logistics staff, including coordinating their daily tasks and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.</li><li>Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain operations.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Skills Requirement:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>3–5 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics role.</li><li>Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and vendor negotiation.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).</li><li>Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience in supervising or coordinating a small team is an asset.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>What We Offer</strong></b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package (Dental care, Extended health care, Vision care)</li><li>Opportunity to lead and shape a high-performing quality team</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Please share your résumé by emailing <b><strong>info@polarpm.com .</strong></b></p></p>Company Description<p>Polar Performance Materials was founded in 2012 and produces ultra-high purity alumina (HPA) using a proprietary low-carbon process.
