The ideal candidate will ensure that supply aligns with demand, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate master data.</p><p></p><p>Key Deliverables</p><ul><li>Execute inventory planning and purchasing activities (BTO/BTS).</li><li>Control inbound flow of goods and inter-warehouse transfers.</li><li>Manage aging inventory to reduce slow-moving stock and warehousing costs.</li><li>Monitor supplier delivery performance, identify risks, and escalate issues.</li><li>Maintain item master and logistical data governance for all SKUs.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><br><br></p><p>Core Competencies</p><p>Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.</p><p>Attention to Detail: Precision in managing inventory, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.</p><p>Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick thinking to resolve disruptions like supplier delays or inventory shortages.</p><p>Adaptability & Flexibility: Supply chains face constant changesbeing agile is critical.</p><p>Strong Communication Skills: Clear coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.</p><p>Organizational Skills: Managing multiple priorities, timelines, and processes efficiently.</p><p>Proactive Approach: Anticipating risks and acting before issues escalate.</p><p>Resilience Under Pressure: Ability to stay calm and effective during tight deadlines or unexpected challenges.</p><p>Collaboration & Team Orientation: Ability to deliver results as a proactive, hands-on self-starter while collaborating effectively across departments and building strong partnerships with external stakeholders.</p><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Post secondary degree or diploma in Logistics, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Supply Chain <span >Certifications/designations</span> is an asset</li><li>Minimum 35 years of experience in supply chain operations.</li><li>Strong, advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li></ul><p></p><p>Physical Demands</p><ul><li>Position is mostly sedentary and requires use of computers for long periods of time.</li></ul><p></p><p><em></em></p><p><em>PMA Canada is committed to providing equal opportunity and accessibility in its recruitment process.
