<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Technician – Electrical and Avionics<p><strong>Location:</strong> Lindsay, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)<br /><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time<br /><strong>Salary Range:</strong> CAD 120,000 – 165,000 gross/year</p>About the Role<p><strong>A senior-level Technician – Electrical & Avionics is sought to support the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and avionics systems for next-generation eVTOL aircraft.</strong></p><p>This hands-on role will work closely with engineering, flight test, and production teams, assisting in the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies from concept to flight.</p>Key Responsibilities<ul><li><p>Build and install experimental wiring harnesses, sensor networks, power systems, and avionics for test rigs and prototype aircraft</p></li><li><p>Support integration and bring-up of flight control systems, high-voltage power distribution, communications equipment, and test instrumentation</p></li><li><p>Set up and maintain test benches and development rigs for functional and system-level testing</p></li><li><p>Perform electrical continuity, signal integrity, and voltage verification tests; assist in troubleshooting hardware and wiring issues</p></li><li><p>Interpret and work from evolving engineering schematics, wiring diagrams, and build documentation</p></li><li><p>Modify harnesses, connectors, and components as systems evolve during iterative development</p></li><li><p>Provide feedback to engineers on design improvements, component selections, and manufacturability of prototype assemblies</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate build records, change logs, and test documentation to support design iteration and traceability</p></li><li><p>Adhere to safety best practices for high-voltage systems, flight hardware, and energized test environments</p></li><li><p>Act as an integral technical contributor and interface between project management and other engineering teams</p></li><li><p>Challenge the status quo and introduce new approaches to improve engineering quality, productivity, and delivery timelines</p></li><li><p>Stay current with developments in avionics, electrical systems, and eVTOL technologies</p></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement of processes to increase safety, efficiency, and reliability</p></li></ul>Requirements<ul><li><p><strong>7+ years of hands-on experience</strong> in aerospace or automotive <span >electrical/avionics</span> systems</p></li><li><p>Experience with assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electrical and avionics systems</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with eVTOL Certification regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA)</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures</p></li><li><p>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment</p></li></ul>Whats Offered<ul><li><p>Competitive senior-level compensation</p></li><li><p>No fixed holiday cap</p></li><li><p>Group benefits plan</p></li><li><p>Company stock purchase program</p></li><li><p>Hybrid work options</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge eVTOL aerospace projects</p></li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
