<p></p><p><b>Time Type:</b></p>Full time<p></p><p><b>Job Family Group:</b></p>Sales<p></p><p><b>Job Description Summary: </b></p>As a Territory Associate, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding pre-determined service expectations while selling product, merchandising and fulfilling route management objectives in order to drive volume and increase visibility of products in accounts.<br><br>This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle to travel between client locations as an essential function of the role.<p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p></p><p><u><b>Responsibilities:</b></u></p><ul><li>Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales call on a pre-determined route (route schedule)</li><li>Lead merchandising efforts in customer for all products, general distribution and promotions/programs.</li><li>Develop effective business relationships with assigned customers</li><li>Provide management with specific and current information on competitive activity, market challenges and merchandising opportunities.</li><li>Execute sales driver objectives</li><li>Work with suppliers representatives and managers in the field to promote products</li><li>Service and improve the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point management</li><li>Pack out shelves, build and refresh displays, place POS and stock cold box</li><li>Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of consumer programming and report trends to management</li><li>Design and build creative displays to showcase brands</li><li>Negotiate display space at the secondary tier retail locations</li><li>Continual development of industry, channel, and brand knowledge</li><li>Maintain shelf schematic compliance and monitor stock levels of products in store</li><li>Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Qualifications: </u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required</li><li>1-2 years' selling experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.</li><li>Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities</li><li>Excellent communication skills: verbal, listening and written</li><li>Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skill</li><li>Excellent Negotiation and Influencing Skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and analytical skills</li><li>Proficient MS Office skills</li><li>Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competition</li></ul><p></p><p> This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
