The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy vision, mission, and the Farm Boy Way.</p><p><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in forecasting duties for warehouse capacity and transportation needs.</li><li>Analysis of current models and cost structures to identify issues and opportunities.</li><li>Gathering and validation of data from product movement and available inventory.</li><li>Daily scorecard completion on transportation activities and opportunities for follow up.</li><li>Coordination of product pick up and movement to and from warehouse locations or between stores.</li><li>Generate monthly forecasting reports to replenishment teams, identify problem items.</li><li>Assist in completing the weekly transportation Profit and Loss Reports.</li><li>Evaluate capacity versus sales needs and growth forecasts for a multiple warehouse environment.</li><li>Review monthly product movement relative to buying patterns.</li><li>Create a template for pre-booking of key seasonal items.</li><li>Assist in preparation of report documents and presentations to management.</li><li>May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Typically requires completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Finance, Economics or Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Strong computer skills (ie: Microsoft Office, Excel, etc,) and familiarity with pivot tables.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with other teams.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and priorities.</li><li>Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Work & Sensory Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.</li><li>Exposure to distractions caused by open office noise and frequent interruptions.</li><li>Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.</li><li>Lack of control over pace due to multiple and/or tight deadlines beyond one’s control.</li><li>Performing extensive and repetitive data entry.</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p></p><p><strong>Accommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.</strong></p></p></p>
