Company Name : United Coastal Logistics Ltd Job Title : Transportation Logistics Supervisor (NOC 12013) Vacancies : 1 position available Terms of Employment : Full time and permanent Job Location : Unit # 3 St., Surrey, BC, V3W 7X4 Wages : CAD $38.00 per hour on the basis of 40 hrs Full time work Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting Transportation Responsibilities Tasks Develop and implement strategic plans to prioritize routes, deliveries, and transportation schedules for optimal efficiency. Organize daily tasks and workflows to ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and coordination across logistics operations. Oversee all transportation and logistics operations, including fleet management, routing, and scheduling. Plan and coordinate operational logistics, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, customer service, dispatch) to ensure smooth end-to-end transport operations. Prepare and submit operational reports, including delivery performance, vehicle utilization, and cost analysis. Ensure the effective operation of fleet tracking systems, dispatch software, and other computer equipment critical to transportation services. Identify and resolve work-related issues, provide technical support to staff, and recommend process improvements to boost delivery speed, safety, and service quality. Train drivers and logistics personnel on company policies, routing systems, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Coordinate ongoing training and development programs for transportation and logistics staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure operational standards are met and exceeded. Assign and review daily work assignments for dispatchers, drivers, and logistics coordinators to maintain delivery targets. Order and track materials, equipment, and vehicle supplies, ensuring availability and cost control. Manage and maintain transportation inventory, including vehicle parts, safety equipment, and routing supplies.
