<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Description</b></p><p><strong>Your role at GEI</strong></p><p><br /><p>We are seeking an Intermediate Infrastructure Planning professional with 4+ years of experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure planning. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting and large-scale infrastructure planning projects, including master plans, feasibility studies, and hydraulic modeling assignments. You&#39;ll work closely with cross-functional teams, all while enjoying the flexibility of a <strong>hybrid work environment.</strong></p></p><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities & Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with the management of <span >water/wastewater/stormwater</span> infrastructure planning projects, including master plans, intensification studies, system capacity assessments, and infrastructure servicing studies.</li><li>Collaborate with senior project managers to ensure smooth project execution and support project planning and coordination.</li><li>Manage and provide guidance to internal junior staff to support high quality and timely project delivery.</li><li>Contribute to technical tasks such as wastewater collection analysis, stormwater servicing, water distribution, and hydraulic modeling based on your background and expertise.</li><li>Help prepare key project deliverables, such as technical reports, client presentations, modeling outputs, and GIS mapping.</li><li>Support the preparation of project proposals and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships.</li><li>Assist in developing and expanding client relationships to help grow GEI’s portfolio in the <span >water/wastewater/stormwater</span> sector.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.) license or must be eligible to obtain within one year</li><li>4+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure planning.</li><li>Degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.</li><li>Knowledge of Canadian/GTA municipalities and basic experience with servicing analysis and network analysis.</li><li>Experience or interest in master planning and Class EA processes.</li><li>Familiarity with municipal engineering design and construction is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), GIS tools, and hydraulic modeling software (InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM) is required.</li><li>Proficiency in data management software such as Microsoft Access, PowerBI, SQL is an asset.</li><li>Physical and environment requirements for this position are available upon request.</li></ul><p><p><strong>We are GEI</strong></p><p> </p><p>Some of the world’s most pressing problems – from climate change to sustainable development, to critical infrastructure and the future of our energy supply – need our brightest and diverse minds working together to create safer, more resilient communities for tomorrow. </p><p> </p><p>We are technical experts, collaborators, and entrepreneurs who draw from diverse backgrounds to solve our clients’ most complex challenges.  </p><p> </p><p>With several offices across North America, we offer a range of engineering, science, and technical consulting services.
