After 20 years in business we run efficiently as a drug and alcohol-free company; with over 250 employees annually, we offer excellent career advancements for all skillsets. </p><p>Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled Water Truck Drivers to join our remote Arctic winter team for the construction and maintenance of the ice road along Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. You will operate a water truck to create and maintain the ice road and to supply Snowmakers with water. This role requires comfort with extreme cold, long shifts, and remote location work—day or night. </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Operate a water truck to apply water in precise layers to build and maintain the ice road. </li><li>Monitor ice thickness and water application to ensure structural integrity and safety. </li><li>Safely drive and maneuver trucks in remote, off-road, and icy conditions. </li><li>Coordinate and communicate with Ice Road Supervisors, Foremen, Equipment Operators, Snowmaking Operators, and Construction Teams. </li><li>Accurately log daily activities, water usage, and areas of concern for road sections within your work area. </li><li>Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, with emphasis on cold-weather operations and environmental protection; safeguard colleagues and the worksite. </li><li>Respond to changing road and weather conditions; adjust driving and water application techniques accordingly. </li><li>Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of the water truck and related equipment; report any mechanical issues promptly. </li><li>Support other winter operations as needed and maintain a proactive safety mindset. </li></ul><p>Required Experience & Certifications:</p><ul><li>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
