<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Ab Initio Developer</strong> with strong expertise in <strong>ETL development</strong>, <strong>data ingestion</strong>, and <strong>data warehousing</strong>. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with <strong>Ab Initio</strong>, <strong>Snowflake</strong>, and <strong>Control-M</strong>, along with a solid understanding of database concepts and Agile methodologies. This role involves working on complex data integration frameworks, managing teams, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new datasets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using <strong>Ab Initio</strong> and related tools.</li><li>Implement data ingestion processes for onboarding new datasets from multiple source systems.</li><li>Develop and support complex frameworks for diverse data ingestion patterns.</li><li>Perform DB load/unload operations and optimize SQL queries.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an <strong>Agile development environment</strong>.</li><li>Manage scheduling using tools like <strong>Control-M</strong>, Maestro, or Autosys.</li><li>Provide production support and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure effective communication with clients and manage team deliverables.</li><li>Work with ticketing tools such as <strong>Jira</strong> and <strong>ServiceNow</strong> for issue tracking.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>ETL Tools:</strong> Proficiency in <strong>Ab Initio</strong>, Spark/Python.</li><li><strong>Database Expertise:</strong> Strong SQL skills; experience with <strong>Oracle</strong>, <strong>DB2</strong>, <strong>Teradata</strong>; knowledge of <strong>Snowflake</strong> is a plus.</li><li><strong>Unix/Linux:</strong> Familiarity with utilities like sed, awk, more.</li><li><strong>Data Warehousing:</strong> Solid understanding of concepts and best practices.</li><li><strong>Scheduling Tools:</strong> Hands-on experience with <strong>Control-M</strong> and similar tools.</li><li><strong>Framework Development:</strong> Ability to design and support complex ingestion frameworks.</li><li><strong>Agile Methodology:</strong> Prior experience in Agile project lifecycle.</li><li><strong>Tools:</strong> Familiarity with <strong>Jenkins</strong>, <strong>Jira</strong>, <strong>ServiceNow</strong>.</li><li><strong>Domain Knowledge:</strong> Finance background with exposure to capital markets products preferred.</li><li><strong>Team Management:</strong> Ability to lead teams, assign tasks, and foster collaboration.</li><li><strong>Support Experience:</strong> Prior experience in production support and issue resolution.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Life at Capgemini:</strong></p><p>Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
