<p>Position: Business Development Officer</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with clients. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and promoting our services to potential clients.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop policies and administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in urban and rural areas</li><li>Design market research questionnaires</li><li>Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional or national areas to assess development potential and future trends</li><li>Plan development projects and coordinate activities with representatives of a wide variety of industrial and commercial enterprises, community and business associations and government agencies</li><li>Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to attract venture capital</li><li>Respond to enquiries from members of the business community and general public concerning development opportunities</li><li>Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval</li><li>Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale or retail consumers</li><li>Evaluate customer service and store environments</li><li>Conduct research on consumers, competitors and the market place to identify trends to optimize marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products</li><li>Analyze promotional and marketing campaigns to identify improvements</li><li>Develop social and economic profiles of urban and rural areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment and development.</li><li>Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles</li><li>Develop and apply E-commerce strategies</li><li>Provide consultation on planning and starting of new businesses.</li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field</p> <p>- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the staffing industry</p> <p>- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets</p> <p>- Strong communication and negotiation skills</p> <p>- Excellent time management and organizational skills</p> <p>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> <p>- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software</p> <p>- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to client meetings</p> <p>If you are passionate about sales and have a drive to succeed, we want to hear from you Apply now to become a part of our team and help us continue to deliver top-quality staffing solutions to our clients in Vancouver and beyond.</p>Create Your Resume First
