Working closely with engineers, designers, and project managers, you will support the development and integration of technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>This position supports the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE), which extends the Crosstown LRT by 9.2 kilometers into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package includes the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of essential project components, making this a dynamic and impactful role within a major infrastructure initiative.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Prepare, update, and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models in accordance with project specifications and requirements.</li><li>Support project engineers and designers in developing detailed technical drawings and documentation.</li><li>Ensure all drawings comply with company and project standards, including proper layer management, annotation, and formatting.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to resolve design or drafting issues and accurately reflect project requirements.</li><li>Coordinate the exchange of drawings between multiple disciplines and contractors to maintain consistency.</li><li>Organize and maintain a structured filing system for all CAD files and related documentation.</li><li>Manage revisions and updates throughout the design and construction phases to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a CAD Technician within construction, engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software; familiarity with Revit or 3D modeling tools is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Effective communication skills for liaising with project staff and stakeholders.</li><li>Post-secondary diploma or certificate in CAD, drafting, or a related discipline preferred.</li></ul><p><em>Alberici is a North American company with multiple Operating Companies: </em></p><p><em>Alberici Constructors, Inc., Alberici Constructors, LTD., Alberici Construcciones, BRC, CAS Constructors, Filanc, Flintco, Hillsdale Fabricators, Kienlen Constructors, and WWPS</em></p><p></p><p><em> </em></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
