This is a unique opportunity to design custom-built equipment and systems while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.</p><p><b>Role Overview:</b><br/>As a Design Engineer, you will take the lead in translating technical specifications into comprehensive design solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineering and project management teams to deliver high-quality, purpose-built designs that meet customer needs.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Create and refine designs based on project specifications, ensuring compliance with all technical requirements.</li><li>Conduct design reviews and oversee the approval process for drawings and production documents.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and project management, to maintain alignment with project goals and budgets.</li><li>Perform calculations to support design decisions and ensure structural integrity.</li><li>Assist with technical proposals by providing engineering input during the estimation phase.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Structural).</li><li>At least 10 years of experience in custom equipment design or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.</li><li>Knowledge of structural codes and standards (e.g., CSA-16, ANSI/AISC 360).</li><li>Strong understanding of welding symbols, GD&T, and mechanical system integration.</li><li>Ability to work on-site and travel throughout North America.</li></ul><p><b>Company Info</b><br/>TorontoJobs.ca Recruitment Division<br/>6645 Kitimat Road, Unit 27<br/>Mississauga, ON, Canada<br/>Phone: 905-812-5627<br/>www.TorontoJobs.ca</p></p>
