437: Head of 437's In-House Creative Agency

Location: Hybrid - Toronto Office
About the Role
We’re looking for a candidate to help launch, lead, and run the 437 In-House Creative Agency. This person will be responsible for setting up the agency’s day-to-day operations while overseeing the production of elevated photo and video content that supports product launches, campaigns, and ongoing brand needs.
This is a hands-on role that blends creative production, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a key role in defining how the in-house agency operates, while ensuring the work coming out of it consistently reflects the 437 aesthetic.
Responsibilities
Content Leadership & Studio Ownership
- Own all visual content produced by the 437 In-House Creative Agency across paid, organic, and owned channels
- Lead and manage the Creative team, including the Brand Designer, Creative + Social Lead, and editors, ensuring clarity on priorities, timelines, and outputs
- Oversee all content that feeds into Instagram ads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, email campaigns, and web
- Act as the operational lead of the in-house agency, ensuring content is delivered on time, on brief, and at a consistently high creative standard
Creative Execution & Brand Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the Creative + Social Lead on creative vision, storytelling, and brand expression
- Translate creative direction and strategy into executable content plans and production workflows
- Ensure all visual content aligns with 437’s brand identity, creative standards, and aesthetic
- Maintain a strong understanding of what performs across platforms while protecting brand integrity
Content Strategy & Platform Execution
- Implement and evolve the visual content strategy across all platforms
- Build and manage content plans and posting schedules across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, & YouTube
- Post and publish content across platforms as needed, ensuring consistency in cadence and execution
- Monitor performance and feedback loops to continuously refine content strategy and output
Production & Operations
- Lead all aspects of content production, including shoots, filming, editing workflows, and asset delivery
- Operate behind the camera, overseeing execution rather than serving as on-camera talent
- Manage production logistics, timelines, and deliverables across multiple content streams
- Ensure final assets are organized, labeled, and accessible for cross-functional use
Performance & Accountability
- Be accountable for the performance and effectiveness of all visual content produced by the 437 In-House Agency
- Own creative outcomes across channels, including but not limited to social media performance, paid media performance, campaign results, and brand perception
- Partner with Marketing and Growth teams to understand performance data and translate insights into creative improvements
- Ensure content is not only on-brand and well executed, but also driving measurable results
- Continuously assess what is and isn’t working across platforms and evolve creative strategy accordingly
Process & Scale
- Establish and refine in-house processes, workflows, and standards as the agency grows
- Create systems that allow content production to scale efficiently across platforms and campaigns
- Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and creative output over time
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience at an agency or similar role
- Experience with brand-forward and social-forward accounts
- You're a self-stater with experience in creative production, studio management, or content operations.
- You’re highly organized and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- You have a strong eye for creative and understand what makes content feel elevated and on-brand
- You’re collaborative, proactive, and calm under pressure

Nice to Have
- Experience in fashion, activewear, or consumer brands
- Experience managing both photo and video production
