This opportunity is well-suited for a <b> Red Seal–certified plumber </b> with practical mechanical experience who’s ready to lead field activities, oversee small crews, and support project delivery under the mentorship of a senior Site Supervisor or Project Manager. This role blends technical know-how, site-level oversight, and team leadership in a safety-focused work environment. </p><p></p><p><b> ADVANTAGES: </b></p><ul><li> Competitive hourly wage $54.41</li><li> Access to a comapny vehicle </li><li> Opportunity for growth potential into Sr. leadership roles </li><li> Company RRSP with matching contributions </li><li> Comprehensive health benefits (dental, vision, extended health)</li><li> Life & disability insurance </li><li> Wellness program (EAP)</li><li> Paid time off </li><li> On-site parking </li><li> Tuition reimbursement & career development opportunities </li><li> All tools, uniforms, PPE, and boot allowance are provided </li><li> Company events & a supportive team culture </li><li> Competitive compensation package </li></ul><p></p><p><b> RESPONSIBILITIES: </b></p><ul><li> Manage and coordinate field project activities </li><li> Supervise and mentor a small crew of Apprentices, Journeypersons, and Subtrades </li><li> Plan and execute daily workflow, including tasks such as: </li><li> Plumbing, pipe fitting, measuring, cutting, coring, trenching, layout, and installation </li><li> Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies </li><li> Conduct hazard analysis, safety inspections, and maintain site documentation </li><li> Coordinate material requisitions, deliveries, and equipment logistics with procurement </li><li> Track and manage timecards, incident reports, inspections, and site instructions </li><li> Communicate and coordinate with clients, project team members, and other trades </li><li> Monitor project progress and report updates </li><li> Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site </li><li> Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accountability </li><li> Identify and address technical or operational issues; escalate complex problems when necessary </li><li> Ensure quality standards are upheld throughout construction phases </li></ul><p></p><p><b> REQUIREMENTS: </b></p><ul><li> Licensed Journeyperson / Red Seal in a mechanical trade (Plumbing, Pipefitting)</li><li> Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract </li><li> Expereince working in schools, hospitals and industrial sectors </li><li> Demonstrated leadership of at least 3 personnel in a journeyperson role </li><li> Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills </li><li> Ability to read and interpret IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings </li><li> Completion of (or commitment to complete) required training within 2 years, including: </li><li> Health & Safety Supervisor Training </li><li> Construction/Project Management (Scheduling, Communication, Forecasting)</li><li> Proactive in learning new systems, codes, safety policies, and technical tools </li><li> Able to assess site risks and involve safety/management when needed </li><li> Committed to supporting and mentoring less experienced team members </li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
