Specification Sales Representative
Location: Mississauga, ON (GTA-based with local travel)

What You'll Do
- Drive adoption of next-generation smart lighting and building control solutions across the GTA.
- Influence project design from concept through installation by building strong relationships with electrical engineers, architects, and designers.
- Deliver tailored solutions by reviewing electrical drawings and specifications in collaboration with the technical team.
- Conduct customer meetings, demos, and training sessions — both in-person and virtually.
- Partner with inside sales and technical support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5+ years in lighting controls, building automation, or IoT systems sales.
- Proven track record selling to or through specifiers (engineers, architects, designers) in commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong technical understanding of control systems and ability to interpret electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter mentality with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
- GTA-based with valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience introducing new technologies to market, including smart building, IoT, or energy management systems.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, business, or a related technical field.
