About the Role


We’re looking for a Senior Director, Portfolio to lead demand planning, forecasting, and portfolio decision-making for Apotex’s Canadian business. This role sits at the center of commercial strategy—owning forecasts for both current products and future launches, shaping which products we bring to market, and ensuring launches are set up for success.

You’ll lead a team of forecasting professionals and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, IP, and Business Development to align plans, manage complexity, and support sustainable growth.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining data, strategy, and cross-functional leadership to make high-impact commercial decisions.


What You’ll Do


  • Own demand forecasting for Apotex’s Canadian portfolio, including marketed products and pipeline launches
  • Lead portfolio planning and optimization—deciding what to grow, launch, relaunch, or rationalize
  • Partner with Corporate Development to evaluate and forecast new product and licensing opportunities
  • Lead demand review meetings, covering forecast accuracy, market trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Oversee launch planning and execution for new Canadian products, working cross-functionally to ensure readiness and strong market entry
  • Translate forecasts into realistic targets for Specialty Sales teams
  • Develop and maintain standardized forecast models across generics, value-add, and specialty portfolios
  • Support customer discussions around pipeline visibility and long-term partnership opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of forecasting analysts, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture

What We’re Looking For


  • 10–15 years of experience in forecasting, commercial planning, portfolio management, or business development, ideally in pharma, generics, OTC, or a regulated healthcare environment
  • Proven experience owning forecasts and influencing product and launch decisions
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing complex initiatives
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
