Now, we are expanding our global team and looking for talented individuals like you!</p><br /><p><strong>Position Description</strong></p><p>Job Title: Quality Control Specialist</p><p>Department: Operations</p><p>Location: Cornwall, ON </p><p>Reports To: Quality Assurance Supervisor</p><p>Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt</p><p>Position Overview: The Quality Technician plays a key role in supporting the Cornwall Plant&#39;s commitment to safety and product excellence. This position is responsible for testing and approving raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, while ensuring all quality documentation is accurate and up to date. The technician will evaluate non-conforming materials, maintain calibration records, and prepare customer-facing documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Internal auditing and data analysis are also part of the role, along with maintaining a clean and organized work area.</p><br /><p><strong>Principle Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Actively Participate in the Cornwall Plant Quality and Safety Programs.</li><li>Testing, approving and documenting test results for raw materials, WIP and finished goods. </li><li>Evaluating and dispositioning non-conforming material and communicating the actions taken. </li><li>Generating, issuing, maintaining and updating paperwork, quality standards and product data sheets. </li><li>Maintaining calibration records. </li><li>Inputting and analyzing data and test results.</li><li>Preparing COAs and other Quality documentation for customers.</li><li>Internal auditing as required.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, organized work area. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Associate&#39;s degree in science, or a High School Diploma with previous laboratory experience.</li><li>Ability to use or learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Teams.</li><li>Demonstrated time management and organization skills.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and display a sense of urgency.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate ideas.</li><li>Excellent documentation skills and ability to record all observations, test results, and related incidents in the appropriate log or form.</li></ul><br /><p><strong>Why Choose IPG?</strong></p><p>At IPG, you will find more than just a job-you will find a place where your success is our success.
