Job Description

<p><strong>We are seeking a sales professional to serve as an Account Manager within Canadian Region.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Focusing on generating new business; utilizes sales expertise to uncover new opportunities.</li><li>Ensures growth of sales; identifies and develops new prospects; and grows business to contribute to the achievement of corporate sales goals.</li><li>Align with and provide input towards the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual company sales targets.</li><li>Acts as the key interface between the customer and Samco Corporate office, Toronto Canada.</li><li>Manages long, complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously.</li><li>Remote position and requires extensive travel.</li><li>Participate in trade shows and exhibitions.</li><li>Be able to work collaboratively with the entire team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills / Qualifications:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Familiarity and experience with capital equipment sales</li><li>Excellent attention to detail; organizational and follow up skills; task management</li><li>Effective negotiation and objection handling skills during the proposal process;</li><li>Excellent collaborative and communication skills (written & oral)</li><li>Experience in "Warm Calling Potential Leads"</li><li>Strong online presence: Social media, LinkedIn -Drive to be out there! Continuously connecting! </li><li>Experience selling to multiple decision-makers</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work independently</li><li>Shows consistent professionalism and good judgement</li><li>Strong work ethic; a sense of commitment; competitive attitude with a will to win</li><li>Good computer skills: Proficient use of Microsoft Office, experience with CRM systems </li><li>Valid driver's license with a good driving record; Able to travel</li><li>Able to demonstrate consultative sales methods.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Education / Experience</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>4-year Bachelor Degree or related experience</li><li>Minimum 5 years business to business sales and account management experience</li><li>Successful experience attaining and maintaining key accounts</li></ul>
