<p>Taylor Ryan is a North American recruitment firm specializing in Real Estate, Construction, Engineering, and Technical disciplines. We provide retained search, contingent recruitment, contract-to-hire (trades), and RPO services from our offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dallas, and Houston.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Taylor Ryan is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Director to lead our Alberta operations. This is a hands-on, billing leadership role ideal for a proven recruitment professional who excels in business development, team leadership, and financial oversight. You will continue to build and grow the AB region while maintaining your own portfolio of clients, contributing personal revenue, and developing a high-performing team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of 360 recruitment professionals.</p><p>- Drive new business development, cultivate long-term client relationships, and leverage existing networks.</p><p>-A member of the Taylor Ryan senior management team for north America, contribute to best practices, strategy and overall company performance</p><p>- Manage your own desk with consistent personal billings and revenue contribution.</p><p>- Oversee regional P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.</p><p>- Execute regional growth initiatives aligned with Taylor Ryan's national strategy.</p><p>- Develop and execute the Alberta marketing strategy, working closely with relevant industry associations</p><p>- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high EQ-driven leadership.</p><p>- Represent Taylor Ryan in the Alberta market as a trusted partner to technical and industrial sector clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><p>- 10+ years of agency recruitment experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership position, managing a multi-disciplinary team.</p><p>- Proven track record in sales, business development, and personal revenue generation.</p><p>- Strong leadership capability with a genuine passion for people development, EQ-focused coaching, and sales performance.</p><p>- Existing industry relationships within technical sectors such as Mining, Energy & Power, Civil & Infrastructure, Heavy Industrial, Engineering, Construction & Real Estate.</p><p>OR</p><p>- Background in Canada / US Business Development for RPO services</p><p>- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow and elevate the Taylor Ryan brand in Alberta.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><p>- Competitive base salary</p><p>- Monthly individual commissions (paid in advance)</p><p>- Regional performance bonuses based on revenue and profit</p><p>- Equity ownership opportunity based on performance</p><p>- 25 days paid time off</p><p>- Annual incentive trip and leadership retreat</p><p>- Hybrid work model (3 days in office in Calgary)</p>
