The role will involve extending core Health Cloud functionality, integrating with external clinical systems (EMR/EHR, tele‑health, billing), and ensuring compliance with Canadian health‑privacy regulations (PHIPA, PIPEDA).</p><p>Our ideal candidate is a technically strong, self‑motivated developer with a proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end Health Cloud solutions in a regulated environment. </p><p>At Spectrum Health Care our mission is re-imagining home care for clients and families to provide products and services they need, whenever care is required, delivered by the most qualified and compassionate staff.</p><p>By joining Spectrum Health Care you will be part of one of <strong>Canada’s Best Managed companies</strong> and a committed member of a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals. </p>Job Description<br><br><ul><li>Develop and customize Health Cloud objects, components, and integrations to support patient management and outcomes tracking, adhering to healthcare standards and privacy requirements</li><li>Design and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance with PHIPA, PIPEDA, and provincial privacy regulations</li><li>Lead technical design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior developers to maintain best practices and coding standards</li><li>Participate in Agile delivery, automate business processes, and support CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and related tools</li><li>Provide Tier 2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and stay current with Salesforce releases and health tech trends to propose innovative solutions</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>3+ years of hands on development on the Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce).</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience</li><li>Salesforce Platform Developer I (required). Platform Developer II, Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional, or MuleSoft Certified Developer are highly desirable</li><li>Direct experience building solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud (patient, care plan, provider, household objects)</li><li>Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs; exposure to MuleSoft or similar middleware; familiarity with HL7/FHIR is a strong plus</li><li>Strong understanding of data modeling, sharing rules, OWD, field level security, and Canadian health privacy regulations (PHIPA, PIPEDA)</li><li>Proficient with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)</li><li>Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments; comfortable writing user stories and acceptance criteria</li><li>Prior experience in the home health, home care, or broader healthcare services sector</li><li>Knowledge of Azure or AWS services and serverless architectures</li><li>Experience with Experience Cloud/Communities for patient or caregiver portals</li><li>Exposure to data migration tools (Data Loader, Jitterbit, Informatica)</li><li>Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and patient centred UX design</li></ul><p>#corp_IT</p><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p></p><p><strong>Spectrum Health Care </strong>is thrilled to be named one of <strong>Canada’s Best Managed Companies.</strong> This award recognizes top companies across Canada for overall performance, sustained growth, strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment, and leadership.
