<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Job Summary:The Intermediate Architectural Technologist will work closely with architects, engineers, and other project team members to develop innovative and sustainable exterior envelope solutions.<br><br>The job role requires a strong background in building envelope design, construction detailing, and project coordination.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop exterior envelope building systems for various construction and renovation projects</li><li>Prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications related to exterior envelope systems using AutoCAD or Revit software</li><li>Conduct thorough research on building envelope materials, technologies, and construction methods to ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards</li><li>Participate in project meetings to provide input on exterior envelope design and integration with other building systems</li><li>Perform on-site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards</li><li>Review and evaluate contractor submittals related to exterior envelope systems</li><li>Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to source appropriate building envelope materials and components</li><li>Mentor and provide guidance to junior architectural technologists and other team members as required</li><li>Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in exterior envelope design and construction</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in building envelope design and detailing</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software</li><li>Extensive knowledge of building codes and construction methods related to exterior envelope systems</li><li>Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable building practices</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively</li><li>Proven experience in project coordination and construction administration</li><li>Understanding of architectural design principles and integration of building systems</li></ul><p>Internal Job Code: AT-ET-03<br />Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / Annually</p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>Bs6Had0GMD</p></p></p>
