<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Our client is a long-standing contributor to the community of Lloydminster and is in search of a self-motivated dedicated <strong>Senior Controller</strong>. The successful individual will be a highly skilled numbers person that goes above and beyond providing leadership by focusing on productivity through motivation, teamwork, communication. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>§ Full Time Permanent position, 8 hr./day, Monday to Friday</p><p>§ $55-$70/hr. starting </p><p>§ Excellent benefit package</p><p>§ 3 weeks’ vacation - negotiated</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities / Skills:</strong></p><p>§ Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company ensuring compliance with accounting standards</p><p>§ Oversee and provide support to an accounting team, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, government remittances, etc.</p><p>§ Responsible for all accounting functions including GL maintenance, analysis, monthly accruals, P&L statements, daily cost tracking, forecasting and adjusting</p><p>§ Monitor the financial performance of the company and establish/monitor internal controls </p><p>§ Create and report monthly financial statements, complete all year-end reports, tasks, prepare year-end financials and facilitate annual audit </p><p>§ Prepare and review annual budgets and forecasts including cash flow positions</p><p>§ Analyze financial data, prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to ownership</p><p>§ Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations and tax filings</p><p>§ Lead financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements</p><p>§ Attend meetings, information sessions and social events as required</p><p>§ Establish and maintain successful working relationships with all employees</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>§ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related education; CPA certification is an asset</p><p>§ Proven work experience as an Accountant, or similar role</p><p>§ Proficiency in excel and accounting software </p><p>§ Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail</p><p>§ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment</p><p>§ Extensive knowledge of accounting principles</p><p>§ Superior communication and interpersonal skills </p><p>§ Time management, quick learner, multi-tasker, superior organization skills, and excellent attention to detail</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>For more information, or if you are interested in this opportunity, please submit a recent resume and references to TJ at Jetstream Personnel Consulting: <span >tj.odonnell@jetstreampersonnel.com.</span> Qualified applicants only. </p><p>We thank all interested candidates for their time and efforts; however, only candidates we wish to interview will be contacted.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><br><br></p></p>Create Your Resume First
