Duration: 8 Months
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid role)
Job Description:
Support Process Engineering workstreams for both projects
This is NOT a Business Analyst role
No requirements writing
Core Responsibilities:
Process documentation and end-to-end process mapping
Take ownership of mapping requests and execute independently
Lead or co-lead process-focused working sessions
Ask the right questions to uncover what's happening beneath the surface
Translate discussions into actionable process maps and journey flows
Support documentation of current state and future state process changes
Skills & Experience Strong in:
Documentation Process mapping Visio IBM Blue works Live
Ability to work independently once direction is provided
Highly conversational: Can engage stakeholders
Comfortable leading discussions to draw out insights
Banking experience preferred: Commercial banking
Lending experience strongly desired
Handle mapping efforts
Drive process discovery sessions
Produce clean, usable outputs
Qualifications:
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possesses a deep understanding of and problem solving ability for issues within the business/group.
- Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle - In-depth.
- Knowledge of business/group processes, procedures and controls - In-depth.
- Understanding of risk, regulatory and compliance requirements - In-depth.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
