<p><b>Senior Project Manager – Public Sector (Healthcare IT)</b></p><p><br></p><p>We are assisting our <b>reputable public sector client</b> in the search for a <b>Senior Project Manager</b> to lead an exciting digital transformation program. The successful candidate will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical authentication solutions across the provincial healthcare system</p><p><br></p><p><b>Location:</b> Halifax, NS (Primarily Remote, with Occasional On-site Visits)</p><p><b>Pay Rate:</b> Approx. $80–$100/hour</p><p><b>Duration:</b> Through December 2026</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risk registers, and governance documentation.</li><li>Oversee integration and implementation of technical solutions (Imprivata, Oracle Toolkit, Active Directory) across clinical environments.</li><li>Collaborate with clinical, IT, and vendor teams to define requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth deployment.</li><li>Lead testing, validation, and go-live activities for multiple healthcare sites.</li><li>Ensure security, privacy, and compliance standards are upheld.</li><li>Provide clear communication and reporting to leadership, including progress updates and risk escalations.</li><li>Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects or programs.</li><li>3+ years of experience working within the public or healthcare sector.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading large health information system projects.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects across remote and hybrid teams.</li><li>Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>History of delivering projects on time and on budget.</li><li>Ability to travel within Nova Scotia as needed (reliable transportation required).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li>PMP certification.</li><li>Agile/Scrum (Scrum Alliance) certification.</li><li>Change management certification (Prosci or CCMP).</li><li>Experience working within the Nova Scotia healthcare or public sector context.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Project Timeline:</b></p><ul><li><b>Go-Live 1:</b> December 2025</li><li><b>Go-Live 2:</b> May 2026</li><li><b>Final completion:</b> December 2026</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
