<p>We're looking for a <b>Senior Python Developer</b> with a strong grasp of backend systems and a passion for building robust, maintainable solutions that directly impact the customer experience. You'll join a collaborative team working on <b>real-time streaming and event-driven applications</b>, primarily using Python and AWS services. This role offers exposure to <b>serverless architecture, large-scale backend systems, and migration projects</b>, all within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.</p><p><br></p><p>This role is ideal for someone who:</p><ul><li>Has a solid understanding of backend development and enjoys writing production-quality code daily</li><li>Is interested in <b>distributed, serverless, and event-driven systems</b></li><li>Enjoys problem-solving and digging into technical challenges</li><li>Wants to <b>collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams</b></li><li>Takes ownership of projects end-to-end and values teamwork and good communication</li><li>Is eager to learn and grow within a modern tech environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>In this role, you will:</b></p><ul><li>Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of <b>backend messaging services and real-time streaming applications</b></li><li>Work with <b>Platform A Platform B integrations</b>, including upstream/downstream processing and migration projects</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to implement <b>messaging logic using configuration-driven approaches</b></li><li>Participate in architectural discussions and design scalable, event-driven solutions with senior engineers</li><li>Build observability features such as <b>metrics, logs, and alerts</b> to support operational health and end-to-end visibility</li><li>Support platform reliability and performance improvements through data analysis, metrics, and incident investigations</li><li>Gain exposure to <b>serverless design patterns, real-time and batch processing, and large-scale backend systems</b></li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Tech Stack & Tools:</b></p><ul><li><b>Language:</b> Python</li><li><b>AWS Services:</b> Lambda, S3, SQS, EMR, DynamoDB (and other services for scalability/event-driven design)</li><li><b>Streaming/Architecture:</b> Kafka, OneStream, real-time streaming, event-driven applications</li><li><b>Tooling:</b> Jenkins, internal CI/CD platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</li><li><b>Focus:</b> Backend development, migrations, and small enhancements/maintenance work</li></ul><p></p>
