<p><b>Position:</b> Senior Systems Engineer</p><p> <b>Location:</b> Mississauga (Hybrid, two days onsite)</p><p> <b>Job Type: </b>Permanent full time</p><p> </p><p> We are seeking a <b>Senior Systems Engineer</b> with a strong background in cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and virtualization technologies. In this role, you'll lead and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems that support enterprise-wide operations. You'll work across both traditional on-premises environments (85%) and modern cloud services (15%), ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems. </p><p> </p><p> A core focus of your role will be to provide observation, documentation, and recommendations for systems and processes. You will also assist in mentoring and supporting the existing team.</p><p> </p><p> <b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>- Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects involving Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, public cloud environments, and enterprise-grade hardware and systems. </p><p> - Act as the Infrastructure SME and provide technical guidance and thought leadership.</p><p> - Manage and optimize virtualization environments, including Cisco UCS, VMware, SANs, and iSCSI networks and Firewall. </p><p> - Maintain and administer Active Directory and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) environments.</p><p> - Document system architectures, configurations, and procedures; contribute to infrastructure roadmaps.</p><p> </p><p> <b>Qualifications:</b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</p><p> - 7+ years in a senior or lead infrastructure role managing enterprise-level systems and delivering complex projects.</p><p> - Proven experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, and enterprise hardware platforms like Cisco UCS.</p><p> - Strong knowledge of SANs, iSCSI networking, and enterprise storage architecture.</p><p> - Demonstrated experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, particularly Veeam.</p><p> - Expertise in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments.</p><p> </p><p> <b>Interested?
