We are currently looking for a聽Shipper/Receiver聽to join our growing team in聽Amico Patient Care.
What you will do as a Shipper/Receiver
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Determine best method of shipment and prepare shipping documents.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Source new shipping companies, negotiate pricing and delivery times.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Continuous improvement of packing methods to ensure product arrives to destination without damage.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Assemble crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Operate forklift or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

- Educational background in supply chain management or operations management studies an asset.
- Shipping/Receiving experience an asset.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.
- Proficient in computer and MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer and math skills and ability to learn new software.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Range: $21-$22/hr
