Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper Receiver to support warehouse operations in Mississauga, ON for a 6-month contract. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products, parts, warranty returns, and parcels while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.- Pay rate: $22/hour.

- Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Job type: 6-month contract Full-time

- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pump trucks
- Shelve and organize products and supplies according to the warehouse plan
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized inventory areas
- Coordinate outside storage requirements with management
- Perform shipping functions including coordination with customer receivers and external office representatives
- Pick, assemble, and securely package products for outbound shipments
- Load outbound trucks accurately and safely
- Ship parts and parcels following written instructions from Sales, Administration, or Service
- Assist with packing and schedule couriers or carriers as required
- Complete shipping documentation, labeling, and customer invoice processing
- File documentation accurately and provide shipment updates to management
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in physical inventory counts
- Ensure inventory is clearly labeled, organized, and easy to locate
- Perform daily forklift safety inspections and maintain safety logs
- Report equipment maintenance needs to management
- Ensure safe forklift operation, including use of wheel chocks and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain valid forklift / reach truck operator certification
- Perform occasional warehouse or building maintenance tasks
- Control warehouse access and ensure the facility is secured at end of day
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Minimum high school education (post-secondary diploma or relevant experience preferred)
- 2-3 years of warehouse or shipper/receiver experience
- Experience working in an Oracle WMS environment is an asset
- Valid forklift and reach truck certification
- Strong understanding of warehouse organization and material handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and learn basic product and company processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Steel-toe safety shoes required
- Comfortable working around moving pallets, cartons, and warehouse equipment
