Hiring Experienced Special EdTutors!
Job Summary:
Canada Ututoring Learning Institute is a non-profit organization committed to providing accessible, inclusive and high-quality educational support with an extremely affordable rate.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to join our team. For this position, we are hiring:
- Special Education English&Math (Elementary/High school level) Tutors
*teachers need to be Special Education licensed and/or have a rich experience in Special Education.
Experience:
- For Language related tutoring, you must have a very solid background of knowledge, in terms of methods to improve children's writing, reading and speaking, and overall confidence in language use
- Experience working with children or adolescents
- Excellent communication especially expressing skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles of each student
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student based on recommended textbooks
- Provide small group tutoring sessions to students
- Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals
- Design tests and quizzes to keep track of and enhance students' learning process
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to us and their parents
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
- Maintain a positive, supportive and intellectually stimulating learning environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
