<h3>What you can expect to do here:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work with the Discipline Lead in planning, design, and execution of structural projects for transportation and transit infrastructure (bridges, viaducts, stations, underground structures, etc.).</li>
<li>Develop and implement project management plans covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder engagement.</li>
<li>Coordinate structural design, including BIM modeling, ensuring compliance with MTO, METROLINX, AREMA and applicable building codes.</li>
<li>Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs & time without compromising safety or quality.</li>
<li>Manage contract negotiations and subcontractor coordination from pre‑bid through project closeout.</li>
<li>Supervise site activities: construction, testing & commissioning, and ensure adherence to safety and project specifications.</li>
<li>Mentor and train team members (engineers, coordinators, superintendents) and foster cross‑disciplinary collaboration.</li>
<li>Prepare and present progress reports, lead stakeholder meetings, and maintain effective communication with all parties.</li>
<li>Ensure regulatory compliance and strict application of safety protocols throughout all project phases.</li>
<li>Participate in the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and subcontracts, including risk analysis and change management.</li>
<li>Develop and implement project change requests, as well as preparing and maintaining comprehensive project technical specifications.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you’ll bring to WSP:</h3>
<ul>
<li>University degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in structural design and project management within the transportation and transit sector.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of MTO, METROLINX and AREMA codes & standards.</li>
<li>Proven experience in structural design and multidisciplinary project coordination.</li>
<li>Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project), BIM modeling, and design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Rivet3, Microstation, InRoads).</li>
<li>Excellent communication, leadership, risk management, and cost control skills.</li>
<li>Experience in estimating, bid preparation, and contract administration.</li>
<li>Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.</li>
<li>Valid Professional Engineering license recognized by the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) is an asset.</li>
