**Role Overview**

As a Surveillance Security Guard working the night shift, your primary focus will be remote monitoring and asset protection. You will be responsible for observing video feeds, identifying irregularities, and following established protocols to report suspicious activities. This position requires high levels of alertness and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems continuously to ensure the safety of the premises and personnel.
• Detect and report immediate safety hazards, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities or mobile patrol units.
• Maintain a detailed daily log of all activities and observations during the shift.
• Write comprehensive incident reports in clear, professional English regarding any disturbances or irregularities.
• Verify security protocols are being followed and conduct virtual patrols of the facility.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations according to company procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all security measures and observed activities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

• **Licensing:** Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• **Certifications:** Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification is required.
• **Availability:** Must be available to work full-time overnight shifts (including weekends and holidays as required).
• **Experience:** Previous experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred, though professional training is provided.
• **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent.
• **Technical Skills:** Basic computer literacy is required for operating surveillance software and electronic reporting systems.
• **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• **Background:** Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
