<p><h3>TD Securities Investment Banking Analyst – Bridging the Gap Scholarship (Summer 2027, Toronto)</h3>

<h3>Bridging the Gap Scholarship Program Overview</h3>
<p>At TD, we believe education opens doors and contributes to the long‑term well‑being of individuals, their families and our communities. To help drive these principles, TD Securities has created the Bridging the Gap Scholarship Program to recognize outstanding Canadian undergraduate students – both academically and with respect to extra‑curricular and/or community service.</p>
<h3>Successful Applicants Will Receive</h3>
<ul>
<li>A 4‑month paid internship position with TD Securities in Investment Banking</li>
<li>The benefit of a TD Securities business mentor, who will be available to them for the full length of their 4‑month paid summer internship position.</li>
<li>A monetary scholarship of C$10,000 to be applied towards their tuition and school‑related expenses for the 2027/2028 school year, upon completion of the 4‑month paid summer internship position.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Candidate Eligibility</h3>
<ul>
<li>Identify as one or more of the following: Indigenous – First Nation, Inuit or Métis, 2SLGBTQ+, Black, a woman, a person with a disability, and/or a visible minority.</li>
<li>Attend an accredited Canadian university as defined by the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (“Approved School”) on a full‑time basis.</li>
<li>Be enrolled in a 4 or 5‑year undergraduate program at an Approved School and graduating in December 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.</li>
<li>Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or legally eligible to work in Canada.</li>
<li>Selected candidates must be able to attend their work term in person. Please note that relocation expenses will not be covered.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Application Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Answer the following essay question: “A maximum 400‑word essay describing a time you demonstrated resilience, adaptability, or leadership and how it illustrates the qualities you would bring to the TD Securities culture and a role in Capital Markets.”</li>
<li>A copy of your most recent unofficial university transcripts.</li>
<li>A copy of your current resume and cover letter including projected graduation date.</li>

<h3>TD Securities Investment Banking Summer Analyst</h3>
<ul>
<li>You will be assigned to a Toronto industry coverage or product group and gain experience in a variety of capital markets / corporate finance transaction types across a range of industries.</li>
<li>You will work under the overall direction of a senior officer in a group of experienced professionals as they generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions.</li>
</ul>
<h3>How You Will Contribute</h3>
<ul>
<li>Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.</li>
<li>Develop valuation models of individual private and public companies as well as merged entities.</li>
<li>Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities.</li>
<li>Value private and public companies.</li>
<li>Assist with client negotiations and documentation.</li>
<li>Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.</li>
<li>Prepare client presentations based upon the above.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Graduating in December 2027 or spring/summer 2028 with an undergraduate degree.</li>
<li>Have a combination of strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid foundation in finance or mathematics.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g. sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, philanthropy).</li>
</ul>
