Job Description

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>As the Warehouse Manager at the Agronomy Centre, reporting to the Crop Supply Manager, you will be expected to provide operational excellence and be <strong>accountable to:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the warehouse facility, including inventory control, management, and participation in the audit process as required.</li><li>Manage the warehouse team of 6-7 staff members, including training, development, performance management, and scheduling, with attention to time management.</li><li>Assist the Crop Supply Manager and Assistant Crop Supply Manager with inventory procurement.</li><li>Coordinate and execute operational duties such as customer service, receiving, storing, and fulfilling requisitions/work orders from customers/applicators.</li><li>Coordinate loading of products on trucks for delivery to branches and producers, working closely with delivery drivers.</li><li>Operate forklifts for extended periods and maintain the facility and grounds to meet CPIC standards.</li><li>Ensure that team members exercise efficient and safe processes at all times.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of chemical and warehouse operations, along with organizational skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills.</li><li>Previous commodity and team management experience preferred.</li><li>This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.</li><li>Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and extended hours.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting.</li></ul>
