We are committed to delivering high-quality building solutions while fostering a safe, collaborative, and growth-oriented workplace. <br><br>Position Overview:<br>Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, the Welder/Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of Custom Cubes projects, with a primary focus on welding and metalwork. This role requires expertise in the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process and experience with CWB certification. Candidates with Red Seal certification or equal experience in welding or metal fabrication are strongly preferred.<br><br>Safety is a core value at Custom Cubes. All employees must comply with company safety standards and demonstrate safety-conscious attitudes and behaviors in every task.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and set up materials for welding and fabrication projects.</li><li>Layout and fitting</li><li>Read and interpret project plans, welding procedures, and specifications.</li><li>Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues, escalating to the Welding Supervisor as needed.</li><li>Maintain organized and tidy workspaces throughout the fabrication process.</li><li>Collaborate with other Fabricators and Welders to complete projects efficiently.</li><li>Pass CWB testing in all positions.</li><li>Perform additional related duties as required.</li></ul>

Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years' experience in welding and fabrication.</li><li>Proficiency in the GMAW welding process; experience with other welding processes is an asset.</li><li>CWB certification is required.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in the safe operation of welding equipment and power tools.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</li><li>Team-oriented with a positive attitude.</li><li>Effective verbal communication skills.</li><li>Reliable and punctual.</li><li>Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.</li></ul>
