This led to DUCA's designation as a B-Corp certified organization, the first ever credit union to receive this global recognition.</li></ul><p>A career with DUCA means you’ll find endless opportunities to make a difference with your unique abilities and perspectives. <strong>Our people live their purpose while helping others Do more, Be more and Achieve more with their money and their lives.</strong> At DUCA, you’ll be part of a vibrant and collaborative team where you’ll be supported to excel and make an impact, no matter what role you play. </p><hr /><p><strong>Account Manager, Commercial Banking (12 month contract)</strong></p><p><strong>DUCA is looking for an Account Manager, Commercial Banking to join our growing team! </strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Account Manager will be responsible for developing new business and managing a loan portfolio and client relationships, in both term and construction financing, as well as helping DUCA achieve its risk objectives and financial targets. </p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain a profitable commercial real estate portfolio of loans valued between $5MM-$20MM which include term real estate loans, construction financing and participations in loans led by other credit unions or FIs.</li><li>Source new loan applications by soliciting existing and potential clients and other financial intermediaries.</li><li>Review and underwrite commercial credit applications providing products and services which meet the Members needs while adhering to DUCA’s lending policies and practices.</li><li>Actively monitor the loan portfolio to ensure accounts are operating as authorized and take measures necessary to remedy non-performing assets.</li></ul><p><strong>Occupational Experience and Educational Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of university degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a relationship management or related role in financial services.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite with strong knowledge of Excel.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with financial analysis of construction loans for <span >residential/commercial</span> development and other interim financing.</li><li>Experience with financing for special use properties such as hotels, senior and/or student residences.</li><li>Computer literate, high proficiency in excel.</li><li>Problem solving and issue resolution skills.</li><li>Effective team player and ability to work well within a group setting.</li><li>Developed negotiating and influencing skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><p>Regular travel within Ontario required for site visits and to meet with clients.</p><hr /><p><strong>Department: </strong>Commercial Lending</p><p><strong>Primary Location: </strong>Corporate Office - 5255 Yonge Street, North York, M2N 6P4 </p><p><strong>Employment Status: </strong>Full-Time (12 month contract)</p><p><strong>Hours per Week: </strong>38</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>The annual salary range for this position starts at $69,956.
