Job Description
<p>**Responsibilities**<br></p><p>- Deliver timely and high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including the coordination of audits for complex financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.<br></p><p>- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and needs, positioning oneself as an industry specialist to address specific client requirements effectively.<br> <br></p><p>- Train and supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams, functioning as the in-charge individual who facilitates fieldwork by monitoring productivity and ensuring adherence to work plan schedules for each assignment.<br></p><p>- Anticipate and address client concerns proactively while escalating issues as they arise.</p><p>- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure a seamless flow of information between the client and the audit team.</p><p>- Identify and articulate significant accounting and auditing issues to the manager, senior manager, and partner throughout the engagement.<br></p><p>- Provide insightful feedback on financial statements and prepare other client deliverables, including board communications, deficiency letters, management letters, and more.<br></p><p>- Recognize both industry-specific and general accounting and auditing challenges, including but not limited to revenue recognition, business combinations, and debt and equity accounting, and determine the appropriate audit approach for these areas.<br></p><p>- Identify opportunities for performance improvement among team members.<br></p><p>- Ensure continuous professional development through ongoing education initiatives.<br></p><p>- Exhibit a willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, contingent upon client needs.<br></p><p>**Required Qualifications**<br></p><p>- A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university.</p><p>- A minimum of five to seven years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment.<br></p><p>- A solid understanding of audit services, with proficiency in GAAP, IFRS, and GAAS regulations.<br></p><p>- A CPA Certification in good standing.<br></p><p>- Demonstrated experience and capability to act in a leadership role on engagements.</p><p>- An openness to supervision and guidance.<br></p><p>**Preferred Qualifications**</p><p>- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.<br></p><p>- Strong critical thinking skills and the capacity to work independently.</p>Create Your Resume First
