Senior Tax Manager- Private Companies

<p>**Responsibilities**<br></p><p>- Provide counsel to business owner clients regarding a comprehensive range of business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.  </p><p>- Manage and supervise the engagement team that focuses on partnership, corporate, and trust entities. This includes the planning and execution of client tax engagements.  </p><p>- Anticipate client needs and collaborate with colleagues in specialized tax areas, as well as across various lines of business, to cultivate client relationships and foster growth.  <br></p><p>- Offer leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members.  </p><p>- Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with both existing clients and prospective clients.  </p><p>- Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to exceptional client service.  </p><p>**Required Qualifications**<br></p><p>- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field.  </p><p>- CPA license or its equivalent. </p><p>- A minimum of seven years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation and/or private client taxation, including recent experience in managing client engagements.  </p><p>- Proficient in the taxation of entities, including partnerships, corporations, and trusts, as well as in estate and individual taxation.  </p><p>- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  </p><p>**Preferred Qualifications**<br></p><p>- Completion of CPA in-depth courses and/or a master's degree in taxation.  </p><p>- Experience in taxation pertaining to private clients or businesses, coupled with a desire to enhance skills in the private client sector.  </p>
