The company continues to grow its preconstruction and project delivery capabilities, taking on complex commercial and residential mechanical projects across British Columbia.</p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>As a Residential Service Plumber, you will perform service, maintenance, replacement, and installation work across residential plumbing, gas, and hydronic systems. This role is ideal for a licensed Journeyman who works confidently both independently and within a team environment, takes pride in workmanship, and values professionalism, safety, and customer service. You will also play a role in mentoring apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> <p>Perform residential plumbing service, replacement, and new installations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct gas service and installation work in compliance with all applicable codes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Complete hydronic service and installation work as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Properly stage jobs and adhere to quality control and safety checklists.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried company vehicle.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work independently or collaboratively with journeymen and apprentices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentor and train apprentice plumbers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the trade.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure all work complies with plumbing, gas, and safety regulations.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li> <p>Red Seal Plumbing certification (required).</p> </li> <li> <p>B-Gas ticket or equivalent (preferred).</p> </li> <li> <p>Minimum 3 years of plumbing service experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with gas service and installation and hydronic systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and codes governing plumbing and gas systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Canadian residency or valid Canadian work permit.</p> </li> </ul> <h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li> <p>Hourly pay of $35–$55, based on experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Company vehicle and company insurance for personal tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Extended health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.</p> </li> <li> <p>5% RRSP matching available after one year of employment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Two weeks paid vacation to start, plus paid time off.</p> </li> <li> <p>Incentive and bonus programs, profit sharing, and paid training.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work anniversary and birthday gifts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Regular company events including team-building activities, BBQs, and an annual Christmas party.</p> </li> <li> <p>Long-term stability, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team culture.</p></li></ul>
